When PLAYBACK was first nominated for London Global StartUp of the Year, it already felt like a moment of pride, especially for a company that had only launched three months earlier. Winning the London category in June became one of our earliest milestones.
Now, that recognition has reached an entirely new level. At Ideas Fest 2025, PLAYBACK was officially named the UK's National Global StartUp of the Year, selected from more than 800 finalists across the country.
This award reflects the belief and momentum behind PLAYBACK's mission: to build the operating system for sport and empower players everywhere to access the technology they deserve.
With growing international recognition comes greater responsibility. We're stepping onto bigger stages, preparing for our largest season yet, and gearing up for global expansions soon to be announced.
